NEW VENUE – Schwartz Center for Performing Arts!
We are happy to announce that we have selected a larger venue for Ignite Dover 1. It will be held at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Dover, Delaware.
Bottom level accommodates over 300 attendees.
Why we moved the venue:
We thought it would be hip and cool to have the event inside of Fordham Brewery, so that attendees could get a tour of the brewery and sample their many terrific beers. Fordham will still provide beer at the Schwartz Center, so the beer will still flow for free for attendees. The problem with the brewery itself is that it doesn’t have air conditioning. We simply couldn’t let our attendees melt if the temperature got too high in the brewery. This move also gives us a bigger screen area, better sound system, and increased seating capacity.

Speaker slots almost full, alternative location scouted
We have had a surge in speaker requests, and we are quickly filling the last remaining spots. If you signed up to be a presenter, you will need to get your Powerpoint slides to us very soon. All speakers will be contacted shortly for additional information. We went to the brewery to make sure that the location would still work because they are undergoing some renovations. One challenge (the biggest one), is that they do not have air conditioning in the space. For that reason, we are scouting another location and we believe we have the most amazing location for the event already. We are visiting with them tomorrow to make a final decision before we announce it. But the new space can accommodate 600 people, has a stage, and a very large screen. This event is going to be great!
